O Navio Dela

In 2019, when I listen to Manel Cruz album "Nova Vida" for the first time I knew that I wanted to illustrate the song "O Navio Dela". For the defined beat, rising rhythm and especially due to the impact and meaning of the lyrics which started to gain different significances every time I heard it. After a long time placed in a notebook, the ideas started coming to life during an unexpected lockdown. In a very challenging exercise of creativity and interpretation, I gradually build a narrative which reflects a personal and conceptual perspective of the song and everything it represent.
